Recipe Repo ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Recipe Repo mobile application and reciperepo.ai. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our services.

Information we collect

  • Account information: When you sign in with your phone number or email, we store your identifier and authentication credentials needed to secure your account.
  • Recipe content: URLs you submit for import, extracted recipe data (titles, ingredients, steps, thumbnails), and recipes you save in the app.
  • Usage data: We use Amplitude analytics to understand how features are used (e.g., imports, screen views). This may include device type, app version, and event metadata. We do not sell your personal information.
  • Subscription status: If you subscribe to Recipe Repo Pro, Apple processes payment. We receive subscription status and product identifiers from Apple In-App Purchase to unlock premium features.

How we use information

  • Provide sign-in via phone OTP or email magic link
  • Import and structure recipes from social media video URLs you provide
  • Sync your saved recipes across sessions
  • Operate subscriptions and enforce usage limits
  • Improve the app and fix issues
  • Respond to support requests at support@cooksnap.app

Third-party services

We rely on service providers that process data on our behalf, including:

  • Cloud hosting and storage for recipe data and media
  • SMS and email delivery for authentication codes and magic links
  • Amplitude for product analytics
  • Apple for In-App Purchase and subscription management
  • AI providers to analyze video and text from URLs you submit

Data retention

We retain account and recipe data while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting support@cooksnap.app. We may retain limited information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

Your choices

  • You can sign out of the app at any time.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • Contact us to access, correct, or delete personal data where applicable law provides those rights.

Children

Recipe Repo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
