Terms of Service (End User License Agreement)

These Terms of Service ("Terms" or "EULA") are a legal agreement between you and Elevated Solution LLC d/b/a Recipe Repo ("Recipe Repo," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Recipe Repo mobile application (the "Licensed Application" or "App") and website at reciperepo.ai. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Scope of license

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Recipe Repo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Licensed Application on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App. You may not copy (except as permitted by this license and Usage Rules), reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Service description

Recipe Repo lets you save and organize recipes by importing content from public URLs on supported platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest). You may sign in with a phone number and one-time code, or with email via a magic link.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. You must provide accurate contact information for authentication. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service.

Subscriptions

Recipe Repo Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple In-App Purchase. The following subscription products are available:

Recipe Repo Pro Monthly (reciperepo_pro_monthly_sub) — an auto-renewing subscription with a one-month billing period. The price is displayed in the App at the time of purchase (currently $4.99 USD per month in the United States; localized pricing may vary by region).
Recipe Repo Pro Annual (reciperepo_pro_annual_sub) — an auto-renewing subscription with a one-year billing period. The price is displayed in the App at the time of purchase (currently $29.99 USD per year in the United States; localized pricing may vary by region).

Pro subscriptions unlock unlimited recipe imports, priority processing, and early access to new features. Free-tier limits and Pro benefits are shown in the App before purchase.

Payment. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Automatic renewal. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen plan.

Managing subscriptions. You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase (iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Pro access until that date. No partial-period refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period.

Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

User content and imports

You may submit URLs and related content for personal, non-commercial use. You represent that you have the right to access and import content you submit. We do not claim ownership of your saved recipes; you grant us a license to host, process, and display them solely to operate the service.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse, scrape, or reverse engineer the service
Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements

Maintenance and support

Warranty

Recipe Repo, not Apple, is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the Licensed Application (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Licensed Application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be Recipe Repo's sole responsibility.

THE LICENSED APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECIPE REPO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Product claims

Recipe Repo, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Licensed Application or your possession and/or use of the Licensed Application, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

Intellectual property

Recipe Repo, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the Licensed Application or your possession and use of the Licensed Application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.

Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-party terms of agreement

You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Licensed Application (for example, your wireless data service agreement).

Third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and that upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this EULA, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

Disclaimer

AI-generated recipe data may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify ingredients, allergens, and cooking instructions before preparing food. We are not liable for outcomes from recipes you prepare.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Recipe Repo. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you have not paid for a subscription.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where prohibited by applicable law (including consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction of residence).

Changes

We may modify these Terms or the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
